4,794 Nepal citizens entered through the Trinagar checkpoint in Kailali Today

According to District Police Office, Kailali, Deputy Superintendent of Police Daksha Kumar Basnet, 4,794 people have come today via Trinagar Checkpoint.

More than 24,000 Nepalis have been entered from the Trinagar checkpoint of Kailali during the 10 days.


According to the District Administration Office, Kailali, the rapid test was conducted on May 2 and 3. Of them, 61 from Maharashtra underwent PCR testing. However, 858 people were sent to the village without a rapid test and will be kept in Quarantine for 14 days at the local level.

According to the Health Assistance Cell, only 600 out of 2,498 people have been tested at the border. Similarly, no rapid test has been done on anyone who came from 9th to 14th.

Narendra Karki, chief of the health division at the state's social development ministry, said they would be tested after being kept in quarantine for 14 days.
