Covid-19 cases increased to 10,099
The Ministry of Health and Population confirmed 538 new Covid-19 cases across the country in the last 24 hours.
As of today, 10,099 cases have been reported.
According to the ministry, the virus has been found in 76 districts so far with Rasuwa in Bagmati province the only district without any case.
Rautahat has a total of 1,159 cases, the highest for a district, followed by Dailekh with 748 infections while Kapilvastu has 705 COVID patients.
“So far, 186,366 polymerase chain reaction tests and 271,584 rapid diagnostic tests have been carried out across the country,” said Gautam.
According to Gautam, 2,224 people-76 within the last 24 hours—have been discharged from various hospitals after recovering.
