12 killed and 21 injured in an accident in Banke
According to Pabindra Bam, the head of Banke Traffic Police Office the accident occurred between two vehicles at East-West Highway.
The accident occurred between a vehicle (BA 5 KHA 5995 ) collided with a truck (NA 4 KHA 9064) that was parked at Ward No. 2 of the rural municipality along the East-West Highway.
According to police, the driver of the vehicle, which was carrying 33 people, had lost control.
The injured have been taken to Nepalgunj-based Bheri hospital for treatment.
