1563 Nepal citizens entered Nepal from Gaddachauki and Gauriphanta on Monday

A total of 1,563 Nepali nationals have entered Nepal from the main Duinaka of the far west on Sunday. All of them have returned because they have lost jobs.

According to the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, 530 Nepalis have entered through the Gadda Chowki checkpoint in Kanchanpur till Monday evening. The number of people going to India has dropped sharply compared to Sunday.


Similarly, the number of Nepalis entering Kailali's Gauriphanta has decreased compared to Monday. According to Pratik Bista, Deputy Inspector at the District Police Office, Kailali, 1,834 people entered the area from Gauriphanta on Sunday.

Nepalis entering Nepal through various checkpoints in the far-western states has reached around 1,15000.
