The number of corona cases in the far-western region has reached 599. According to the Ministry of Social Development, the number of corona cases has reached 599 after 224 people were added on Thursday.


According to the ministry, 199 people were tested in the National Public Health Laboratory in Kathmandu on Thursday alone, 24 in the Seti Provincial Hospital and 224 in the Bheri Hospital.

So far, four people have died in the far-western region due to coronavirus. Corona infection was confirmed in 25 people in Kailali, 20 in Kanchanpur, 30 in Achham, 25 in Vaitadi, 41 in Bajura and 83 in Dadeldhura.

111 have been discharged. There are 40,472 people in various quarantines in the far west. They have all returned from India. The ministry said 119 corona-infected people were in isolation.
