In the far west, the number of infected corona is 1144, while in Kailali alone 350 people are infected

The number of corona cases in the far-western region has reached 1144. The number of infected people has reached 1144 after the additional infection was seen in 137 people on Monday.

A test conducted at the National Public Health Laboratory in Kathmandu showed corona infection in 96 people and 41 people in Seti Provincial Hospital. So far, 165 infected people have been discharged in the state.


Among the Infected:

  •  347 are from Kailali
  •  107 from Kanchanpur
  • 67 from Achham
  •  204 from Dadeldhura
  •  13 from Darchula. 
Corona infection has been confirmed in 21 people in Bajhang, 172 in Baitadi, 142 in Doti and 71 in Bajura.

So far, 1,7,247 people have been tested using RDT and PCR methods and 17,611 throat swab samples have been collected, according to the ministry. There are 29,928 people in quarantine across the state. They are have returned from India.
